General

This website processes personal data only within the bounds of applicable law (GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act). No data is shared with third parties for analytics purposes and no tracking cookies are set.

Server logs

The web server automatically stores information your browser transmits (IP address, requested page, timestamp, referrer, user agent). This data is used for technical troubleshooting and is deleted after a maximum of 14 days.

Analytics

This site uses self-hosted Umami for basic, privacy-friendly usage statistics. Umami runs on infrastructure operated by the controller within the EU region (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) — no data is transmitted to servers outside the EU, and no external processor is involved.

The following data is recorded: page paths, referrer, user-agent string, and a country derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored: it is hashed server-side together with a daily-rotating salt to derive an anonymous session identifier, after which the raw IP is discarded. No cookies are set and no cross-site tracking takes place.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage). Under Art. 21 GDPR you have the right to object to this processing at any time — an informal email to the address above is sufficient, and you will be excluded from analytics going forward.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, the data you provide (name, email, optional project type, message) is processed solely to respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication).

The following data processor is involved in handling your message:

Retention

Inquiries via the contact form are retained until the communication is concluded and then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at ↗.
