About me
Day job on the City of Vienna's digital team, freelance for small businesses on the side — website, operation, and the digital tools around it.
I help small Austrian businesses get visible online and stay that way: build or rebuild the website, then take over operation and care, plus the digital tools around it — booking, newsletter, invoicing. Focus: hotels and restaurants.
I've been building web apps for years in employment and in my own projects (e.g. b-cal); on the freelance side I'm deliberately starting with a smaller scope and scope larger projects together.
I prefer projects meant to last longer than a quarter: cleanly built, on my own infrastructure in Vienna, with tools I'll still trust in two years. On most projects I stay on as the point of contact after launch.
